The Buzz is changing

For the past three years, the Buzz has been the place for deaf young people. You’ve made connections, shared your stories and made it an incredible place.

In June, the National Deaf Children's Society (who run The Buzz) launched a new strategy. This is our plan for the next five years and we believe it’ll help us reach even more deaf young people. After looking closely at everything we offer young people we’ve decided to close buzz.org.uk, the Buzz Instagram and YouTube on Monday 11 December 2023.

But don't worry!

The National Deaf Children’s Society is still here for you.

We’re developing an exciting new offering for young people over at ndcs.org.uk. This will launch on Monday 11 December and we’re so excited for you to see it! We’ll be covering loads of different topics, such as deaf identity, careers, education, advocacy and many more! We’ll also still bring you exciting blogs and videos from young people just like you.

We want to thank all our amazing content creators and young volunteers who have made the Buzz so special. We’re so proud of what you’ve shared to support other deaf young people and we cannot wait to keep working with you over at ndcs.org.uk.

We know change can be hard. So, if you have any questions or need support we’re here for you. Please send an email to Rosie or Beth in the Buzz team at cyp@ndcs.org.uk.

User_0249The Buzz has given me a community of other deaf people who understand about my deafness and what I experience, I love that if I have a question or I have had a bad day, I can sign in and talk to others. I always feel so much better.
